Dry clean only, and only with a cleaner who handles zari. Store the piece folded in cotton or muslin rather than plastic, and refold along different lines every few months so the zari does not crease and crack. Keep naphthalene balls away from direct contact with the fabric.

Every piece is dry clean only, and only with a cleaner who handles zari. The first wash matters most — tell them it is a handloom piece with metallic thread.
Storing it. Fold into cotton or muslin, never plastic, and refold along different lines every few months so the zari does not crease along the same crease and crack. Keep naphthalene away from direct contact with the fabric, and give the piece an hour of air twice a year.
What is normal. Handloom carries small irregularities in the weave and in motif placement, and hand-dyed fabric varies slightly in shade between lots. These are characteristics of the craft, not defects — a piece with none of them was made by a machine.
First wear. If the blouse is newly stitched, try it on at least a week before the occasion. We alter free within 7 days of delivery.
Navya Creations is a boutique atelier in Vidya Nagar, Hubballi. Every lehenga and blouse that leaves us is photographed exactly as it is — the piece in the picture is the piece that arrives.
Our handwork is done in-house: Maggam, Aari and Zardosi, in gold zari, beads, stones, mirrors and dori, by artisans who have spent decades at it. Custom blouse work is measured, fitted and finished in the same studio, which is why we can promise 7–10 days rather than guess at it.
